Wine tasting in Munich
Wir Wollen Wein means “we want wine”, and that's pretty much the whole idea. Our tastings in Munich feel more like a good night out than a class: a few bottles worth talking about, someone who explains what's in your glass in plain words, and a room full of people you haven't met yet.
What happens
You taste, you talk, you rate every wine on your phone. After the evening you get your personal summary with your ratings and our notes on each wine, so you still know which bottle it was next week. If you like, your digital taste profile collects your ratings across evenings and shows what you actually enjoy.
Good to know
- Language: our evenings are hosted mainly in German, and switching to English is no problem. Nobody judges your pronunciation of Gewürztraminer.
- Music: some formats come with local DJs, from jazz to bass music to clubby electronic. Never the charts.
- Booking: the ticket page is in German, but it's a few fields and a button. The address comes with your ticket.
- Minimum guests: every evening needs a minimum number of guests, shown with the date. If we don't reach it 72 hours before, we cancel, and you can switch to another evening or get your money back.
- Age: 18 and over.
